A famous print that features Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr., signed by father and son, is highlighted in this lot. This print is titled, Griffey The Next Generation. They signed their names with a blue marker across their image. The print is behind a hard acrylic sheet which has been screwed down onto the wooden plaque. A black name plate is located below the print, it says, ‘Ken Griffey & Ken Griffey Jr. 1st Father & Son combination to play Major League Baseball at the same time – 1989 Season’. JSA (James Spence Authenticators) has authenticated the signatures; their sticker is on the print and their card is included. Ken Griffey Sr. was a member of the Cincinnati Reds ‘Big Red Machine’ wining two back-to-back World Series in 1975 and 1976. Ken Jr. was an outstanding player, he will most likely be inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 2016.
