A vintage hardcover book titled Der Fuerhrer: Hitler’s Rise to Power by Konrad Heiden. Konrad Heiden (1901-1966) was a Jewish journalist and historian from Germany; he is well-known for writing some of the first influential biographies on Adolf Hitler. The book was translated from German to English by Ralph Manheim and published by Houghton Mifflin Company in Boston in 1944. There is a ‘J. P. Waltz Collection’ stamp on one of the inner pages.
