Replica Rosetta Stone

Item Details

A plaster replica of the Rosetta Stone, a stone carved with text in ancient Greek, Demotic, and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. Discovered on the Napoleonic expedition to Egypt, it allowed hieroglyphics to be translated for the first time. There is a metal wire to the recessed back of this replica for wall hanging.
