A pair of 1938 Cincinnati Reds team issued baseball cards are featured in this lot. This highly sought after regional set, sometimes referred as ‘The Harry Hartman Set’ or ‘W711-1.’ These antique baseball cards were only available through the Reds Ball Club at Crosley Field or the mail. This pair of baseball cards feature two of the Reds starting pitchers in 1939, Paul Derringer and Bucky Walters. These thin paper cards give statistical information on their backsides. Front sides depict a close up or action shot. Each desirable card is enclosed in a protective top loader. Best to attend our Preview for a personal assessment.
