Item Details
A large group of vintage porcelain. The group includes assorted teacups and saucers, a vase, a box and figurines. There are five ornate teacups and two sauces. Two cups with saucers are a matching set made by Franklin Kent, the other cups are marked Rosetti, Victoria C&C, and Rosina. The trinket box has metal hinges and has painted imagery of an aristocratic couple on the lid and floral imagery throughout. The box is marked ‘Made in France’ and stamped ‘BW’. The double handled vase rests on a square pedestal and has gold floral designs, marked ‘Moritake’ on the base. The figurines include a rabbit, a dog, and the bust of a woman. The woman and rabbit are marked ‘Fine Quality Japan’ and ‘Haviland France’.
Condition
- good to fair, metal frame on porcelain box is twisted near hinge and doesn’t stay shut as a result. Stress crack on underside of one Franklin Kent saucer.
