An original mid-century oil on canvas painting by listed Austrian artist Hans Waller (1908-?). This bright landscape depicts a fall scene. Bright leaves line a flat body of water that glows with sunlight diluted by clouds overhead. A small path cuts across the left edge of the frame, approaching the water. The painting is signed in black in the lower right corner, and the artist’s name is engraved in a small metallic plaque attached to the base of the frame. The painting is presented in a wide gilt and white ornate frame. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging, along with a short biography about the artist.
