Vintage Mastodon Ivory Pen Holder

Item Details

A vintage Alaskan mastodon ivory ink pen holder made from a halved unearthed mastodon tusk with a carved mastodon ivory seal perched to top and a brass ball with black plastic cup ballpoint pen holder. A small sheet of paper found inside reads "1945 mastodon ivory, Alaska received by Katherine from Grafton Black."

- wear consistent with age, slight oxidation to brass parts of pen
