An antique National Sewing Machine Company treadle machine in a tiger oak cabinet. The machine is enameled in black and ornately decorated in a gold and green filigree with a Richmond badge on the arm. Machines manufactured by NSMC around the turn of the century were badged based on the retailers preference or location. Intricate decorative relief carving on the figural tiger oak cabinet.
