A machine woven wool area rug by Karastan in the ‘Indigo Tabriz’ pattern. The rug features a deep indigo blue background with a floral lattice with shah abbasi motifs. The rug has a nice knot count and tufted pile. The main border is a cream color with more shah abbasi motifs. The fringe has been sewn on. There is a tag on the back reading ‘Karastan, 100% wool pile of imported wool fiber, permanently mothproof, worsted yarn, woven in U.S.A.’
