M. Corda Original Oil Painting of Floral Still Life

An original signed oil painting on canvas by Austrian painter M. Corda (Vienna, 1894). The image depicts a large orange stone vase overflowing with multicolored flowers of varied species, set on top of a marble stone pillar, against a dark neutral backdrop. Artist signature is signed in orange to the lower left area. This painting is mounted within a beveled wood frame with carved decorative details and a gilt finish. A paper envelope attached to the verso contains an aged label with additional biographical information about the artist.

Condition

- canvas is warped in some areas throughout painting. There are several indentations in the canvas. Some accretion on painting surface.
