Antique 1906 Automatic Electric Co Strowger Wall Phone

Item Details

An antique Strowger wall phone by Automatic Electric Company out of Chicago, Illinois. The phone features a wooden case with the transmitter and bells on the top and the Strowger dial in the center. The hand held receiver hangs on the side. The transmitter is marked ‘Automatic Electric Co Patented in U.S.A. May 19. 1906’. The dial is marked ‘Automatic Electric Company Chicago U.S.A.’ The cord that runs from the receiver into the box appears to be newer compare to the rest of the phone. Item is untested.
