A pair of impasto oil paintings on stretched canvas attributed to intriguing artist ‘Burnett.’ A focus of some mystery, the artist ‘Burnett’ is most commonly assumed to be American artist Caroline Burnett who spent a great deal of time in Paris painting French city street scenes in the early to mid-1900s. With images of faceless people walking well-known French streets, each piece is signed in all capital letters to the lower margin.
