Wison and Buckner Signed Steiner World Series Item

A fantastic autographed framed picture of the famous Buckner ‘Boot’ from the 1986 World Series comprises this lot. The picture depicts Mookie Wilson, of the New York Mets, running to first and one can see the baseball going down the right field line, with Bill Buckner in chase. Mookie hit a ground ball to first base, Bill misplayed the ball, Mookie was safe and Ray Knight scored the winning run. This happened in game 6. Bill and Mookie signed the picture; Mookie added, ‘10/25/86’ under his signature. Their signatures have been authenticated by Steiner; their certificate is affixed to the back. The plaque under the picture says, ‘Mookie Wilson/Bill Buckner Game 6, 1986 World Series October 25, 1986’.
