A 1989 Cincinnati Reds team signed baseball comprises this lot. The twenty-six signatures are on a National League (William White President) baseball. The players/coaches who signed are: Pete Rose (sweet spot), Lee May, Ken Griffey, Rick Mahler, Norm Charlton, John Franco, Scott Scudder, Rob Dibble, Paul O’Neill, Barry Larkin, Todd Benzinger, Jeff Reed, Tom Browning, Mariano Duncan, Ron Oester, Joe Oliver, Kal Daniels, Jeff Richardson, Jose Rijo, Tony Perez, Bo Diaz, Chris Sabo, Danny Jackson, Rolando Roomes, Lenny Harris and Eric Davis. This was Pete Rose’s last year in Major League Baseball, he was replaced by Tommy Helms near the end of the 1989 season. The original owner of this baseball put a small ‘89’ just below ‘William White’.
