A bronze sculpture after Auguste Moreau’s Lady with Wheat. Moreau (French, 1834-1917) was the son of artist Jean Baptiste Moreau. This cast bronze sculpture is a reproduction of one of his original works and stands just over three feet tall. The sculpture features a woman wearing a ragged dress and carrying wheat through a field. Is also includes a cast label beow the woman’s feet that reads "Reine des Pres par Aug. Moreau." The sculpture sits on a round green marble base with a label that translates this title to "Lady w/ Wheat by A. Moreau."
