Two Hand Painted Vintage Boxes
Item Details
Unique wood music box with two pretty glass shot glasses, and a spot for a good bottle of whiskey. Shot glasses are kept in custom made wells. Sides are slanted inside to keep a bottle in place. Music box is built into one end, has a turn key, and holes in the top for music to come through. Top has a hinged lid and a hand painted ship in an oval. There is a recessed spot in the top for easy opening. Box sets on riveted feet. Little hand painted box with hinged lid is full of sewing accessories. Box is painted dark red and has a hand painted ship in an oval on the lid. There is a small black anchor painted on the front. Box has dovetailed construction, and little leather loop handles on each side. Box is marked ’Nottings SEA Marblehead Chest Workshop.
Condition
Music box worked when tested. Lots of wear to finish on each piece. Please preview for best assessment.
