Circa 1930 Italian Oil on Canvas Signed "Fracassi"

A charming circa 1930 original oil on canvas signed "Fracassi" in red to bottom left depicting a beautifully executed floral bouquet set against a deep brown background and framed in an ornately carved wood with a brass plaque reading "Fracassi". Type set to paper label on back reads "Born in Mantova Italy in 1900 he studied painting and graduated from the Academy in Verona. In 1929, he received the 1st prize in a collective exhibit in Lecco, Italy. He received prizes in collective national exhibits – in Rome in 1932, in Milano in 1938 and in Torino in 1939. In 1956, he participated in international exhibits in Lugano, Switzerland and in 1958 in Madrid, Spain."
