A stunning Giclee print hand engraved on stone by J.W. Giles and hand colored by R.B. Davis depicting T. Winfield on a fox hunt writing to bottom reads "painted by R.B. Davis, proof, This print of T. Winfield, Huntsmen to the Buchnel Hounds. Is dedicated with permission to Thomas Tyrnhit Drake Esq. re by his most obedient humble servant drawn on stone by J.W. Giles London. May 1838. Published by Mr. Davis 10 Wilton St. Grosvenor Place. And Mess.rs A. H. Baily & Co. No. 83. Cornhill." And is double matted in white and orange and framed in beveled wood with a gold tone inner rim with a paper backing and wire hanger, with a paper label to back explaining the original line engraving and it’s subsequent reproduction being a restrike of the original engraving.
