Item Details
A Sajai Multi-Stone Minaudiere. Handmade by an experienced craftman, this beautiful evening bag is made by a process called ‘sajai’, which translates in English to ‘to decorate or to beautify’. The metal body of the bag is adorned with a variety of natural stones, including quartz and agate, while the interior of the bag is lined with fine felt. Attached to the bag is a long carrying chain, and included are three additional stones that were present in the bag at discovery.
