Vintage Hyde Women's Rollerskates and Sled
Item Details
A pair of roller skates and a wooden sled. The roller skates are from the Hyde Athletic Shoe Company and were manufactured in Chicago, Illinois. They are a women’s size 8. The skates have a patent date of Aug 15, 1914 and feature the ‘Pro-Tek-Toe’. They are in their original orange case that says ‘Joan’. The sled is of metal and wood construction. The frame and rails are metal and the seat and steering mechanism are wood. There are no visible makers mark and the sled is missing its rope pull.
