Antique Cast Iron Ink Well

Item Details

An antique cast iron ink well. Features ornate designs of the Art Nouveau era with plant and scrolling motifs throughout and fish fin-like handles. The three well covers are operated by corresponding levers at the base; however, one lever is missing, but the well cover can still be lifted by hand. Maker’s mark is to the front around the base, but is illegible.

Condition

Missing one lever, top of one lever is chipped. Condition consistent with age and use.
