Cartier "Trinity" Black Lacquer and Gold Plated Pen

A ballpoint pen by Cartier from the Trinity series. This pen was made in Germany and Montblanc has been known to make pens for Cartier. The pen features a black lacquer body with gold plated bands and clip. There is a monogram on the cap reading ‘R. S. Tomassene’. The pen is marked “Cartier’ on the white gold tone band. Under the clip, there are markings reading ‘Germany’, hallmark, ‘Plaque OR G’. The pen did write at time of cataloging.
