A collection of vintage and modern ceramic animal figurines includes two ceramic horses, an elephant, a German shepherd dog figure, and a porcelain deer and fawn sculpture marked Masterpiece by Homco and marked to base. Homco began as a home business by Mrs. Mary Crowley, who maintained strict standard of ethics and business during her tenure as the owner of the company; it was one of the first companies to offer the ‘home party’ model of sales. Included are a pair of playful Lefton ceramic kittens, tagged to the underside. Also included are a dolphin sculpture by John Perry, an English-born sculptor who developed his own unique casting materials for his sculptural work, presented on driftwood and tagged to the base. Included are a pair of mouse and chipmunk sculptures by ‘Home Interiors and Gifts’, a ceramic horse-and-wagon toothpick holder, a ceramic bunny and two plastic rabbits.
