An antique chromolithograph print, circa 1912, after a painting by the American artist Newton A. Wells (American, 1852-1923), titled Yard of Roses. The print depicts a yard-long composition of blossoming red and white rose with detailed foliage. It is signed in plate “Newton A. Wells” to the lower left. Presented under glass in a period gold-painted gesso molded frame featuring beadwork, ornate foliage and scroll patterns.

Condition

- to fair. The print shows sun-fading. Condition is consistent with age.
