Hand Crafted Wood Bench

A hand-crafted wooden bench. This bench has been constructed from a vintage full sized headboard. The backrest of the bench features many elements of Sheraton and Hepplewhite design, including a scrollwork center shield and bouquet on the top rail, flanked by additional period elements. It has two turned front legs and two straight back legs. The seat and back are reinforced with a decorative metal bracket. The bench has been painted in a high gloss ebony and the finish has been distressed.
