A collection of seven framed counted cross stitch pieces. This grouping includes cross stitch for a multitude of situations. There is a ‘God Bless Our Home’ sampler, a doll and rocking horse picture, a picture of several pots of blooming flowers, three pieces attached to sewing hoops and trimmed with fabric and two framed smaller pictures of a teddy bear and a heart sampler. Counted cross stitch is one version of embroidery and enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in the 1980s, which is the time period that most of these pieces were created.
