Antique Kling China Doll

Item Details

An antique china doll manufactured by Kling Dolls in Germany circa the late nineteenth century. The doll has glazed china head, hands and legs and a plush body. She has short dark hair, rosy cheeks and blue eyes. The doll is wearing an off-white cotton Victorian style dress with swiss dots and bloomers. The doll has incised marks on the back of her neck reading ‘Germany 189 2’.

Condition

The doll has wear consistent with age, including minor loss of paint and scratches. There is staining on the dress from age.
