Item Details

A early 19th century hand-decorated Weller Art Nouveau umbrella vase. The prominent colors are hues of yellow, green, and deep blue. The vase is decorated in ribbon and floral designs and contains a scalloped rim to the top. Weller pottery was created by Samuel Weller in 1872 in Fultonhan, Ohio. It moved to Zanesville, Ohio, in 1889 and closed its doors in 1948 about thirteen years after the company decided to no longer hand-decorate their pottery items.
