A Set of Three Children’s Books Signed by Illustrator Mary GrandPré. Most famous for her illustrations for the Harry Potter series, visionary artist Mary GrandPré has worked on a variety of other children’s books, as well. Her signature style plays with the weight of color to create dimension and warmth, key elements clearly illustrated in this collection. Two poetry collections, Swing Around the Sun by Barbara Juster Esbensen (the Fall season; Lerner Publishing Group, 2002) and Plum by Tony Mitton (Scholastic, 2003) are both signed to the title page, next to GrandPré’s credit. Chin Yu Min and the Ginger Cat by Jennifer Armstrong (Crown Publishers, 1993), is a modern folktale, also signed by GrandPré to the top right of the title page.
