An antique grouping of photographs and books. This collection includes two hardcover books ‘The Master Violin’ and a ‘Baptist Hymnal’ and eight black and white photos. ‘The Master’s Violin’ was written in 1904 by Myrtle Reed (1874-1911) and tells of a love story with a musical atmosphere. The ‘Baptist Hymnal’ features over 200 hymns of church music. There are seven photographs that feature a large group, perhaps a church gathering matted in gray and black. The eighth photograph is a brown matted school photograph of primary students and their male teacher.
