A vintage Alexander Doll Company collection. This rare collection includes nine dolls all in like-new condition and stored in their original boxes. Included are Pinkie (Model number 1350), Baby McGuffy (Model number 3266), Miss Eliza Doolittle (Model number 20112), Eliza the Flower Girl (Model number 20113), Singing in the Rain (Model number 77017), With Love (Model number 21010), Easter (Model number 21020), Guardian Angel of Love (Model number 10603), and Little Miss Magnin (model number unknown.) Madame Beatrice Alexander Behrman (1895-1990) began making cloth dolls during World War I to help support her father’s doll repair shop. She introduced her Madame Alexander brand in 1923 and her successful career of producing high-quality, hand-crafted dolls in the United States was born.
