Collection of Unframed Lithographic Prints
Item Details
An assortment of unframed vintage lithographs. The group includes four offset lithographic prints by Allen F. Brewer, Jr. depicting racehorses Alsab (1949), Middleground (1950), and High Gun (1955), each signed in the plate by the artist. There are four equine theme lithographic prints signed ‘Gragg’ on the plate, depicting a horsehead, a trotting horse, two horses meeting over a fence, and a mare and foal looking out of a stall. There is an offset lithographic color print of ‘The Express Mail Liberty Eagle’ II with a U.S>Postal Service credit and copyright date of 1987. The majestic Bald Eagle rests on a branch and surveys a snowy mountain landscape. Three offset lithographs of watercolor paintings signed ‘Bob Blake’ in the plate depict rural landscapes with vernacular farm buildings. The final item is an offset lithographic reproduction of a sepia toned photograph that captures the image of just such a modest building in real life.
Condition
Some of the prints are dirty or have light marks.
