Matisse "La Vis" Poster

A poster on cardstock of ‘La Vis (The Wine Press)’ by Henri Matisse (1869-1954). Matisse was a French printmaker and sculptor who used bright colors and abstract forms. This work was from the last period of his life, the cut-outs, which were exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York this past year. This poster was made by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC in 1977 for their exhibition, which is detailed at the bottom of the poster.
