A large framed reproduction weft-woven tapestry depicting Archduke Maximilian of Brussels hunting in a rural landscape. It is a copy of one of a series of twelve tapestries commissioned by the ruler celebrating each month of the year made in the 16th century. The Archduke, pictured in the center foreground, is gazing toward a walled city with two spires in the distance while in the middle ground men work the fields. The panel has an internal woven floral border with a device at the top center featuring a dog. The tapestry is presented in a wide black and gold tone frame with a molded interior edge.
