A Royal Doulton Dick Turpin large porcelain mug. The mug features the English highwayman ‘Dick Turpin’ made famous from the novel Rookwood by William Ainsworth. The handle of the mug is fashioned after Turpins horse in the novel ‘Black Bess.’ Bottom of the mug is marked ‘Made in England Royal Doulton Dick Turpin D6528 Copr 1958.’
