A Lithograph by Marcel Mouly (1918-2008), Titled ‘Nature Morte au Chandalier’. After studying with a multitude of modern masters such as James Lipchitz and Pablo Picasso, Mouly gained a vast knowledge of cubist technique, employing bold use of color in a signature style of his own. ‘Nature Morte au Chandalier’ is a prime example of Mouly’s command of color, and semi-abstract style, and its black frame and vibrant teal matting allow the viewer to prepare for the bold contrast in colors within. Signed to lower right, and numbered 279/300 to lower left, this beautiful work also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery, reg# 110114.
