Chinese Polychromed Temple Bird Cage
A Chinese carved and polychromed wooden birdcage, having a temple form with a carved finial attached to a double hipped roof with carved corner brackets, above an elevated structure, surrounded by a carved loggia. Below are two stepped levels of decorative fencing, punctured on each elevation, by centered steps. Painted red and green and retaining the original tin tray bottom. Circa 1900.
