Antique Copper Ruler and other Vintage Travel Items

A group of unique antique and vintage items including a copper advertising ruler that was made for the Baltimore Copper Smelting & Rolling Company. Ruler is thought to be produced in the late 1800’s and is stamped to the front of the ruler with the company’s name along with items they were able to produce and services they were able to provide. To the back is written ‘The World’s Largest Copper Plant: 1000 agencies located in all principal cities’ along with some other verbiage about the company. Other items in this group include a brass tin with woven detail, a brass paperweight in the shape of a Hershey’s kiss and an assortment of trinkets from various travels including a small leather children’s purse with ‘Aerial Tramway / Estes Park, Colo.’ written to the front, an artisan made coconut that has been turned into a handbag, a pair of Native American figurines with leather and fur accents, a vibrant woven trinket dish, an Austrian made leather shoe mounted on wood ski, and a handwoven and genuine bamboo basket of Florida.

Wear and marks present consistent with age and use including patina seen to metal items, marks to paperweight and leather purse, and wear seen to clothing of figurines including a missing piece of fur.
