Webster-Chicago Model-80 Wire Recorder
Item Details
A Webster-Chicago Model-80 Wire Recorder. Initially used for court recordings and dictation, the Webster-Chicago wire recorder finally made it into the homes of America. Recording on wire lasted longer than then-popular vinyl recorders, making wire recorders ideal for capturing family memories. This Model-80 features a burgundy exterior, which closes for use as a carrying case. Inside the lid, a small storage compartment is found, which can be used to hold new spools or the included handheld microphone.
Condition
Cosmetic damage to the exterior. Snap pull for upper cubby is torn, but snap still functions. Untested, no power cord.
