Two Vintage Beaded Evening Gowns
Item Details
A selection of two vintage evening gowns. The peach one hundred percent silk gown with rayon lining has a V shaped neckline and significant shoulder pads embellished with faux pearls, opalescent sequins and crystal beaded fringe with teardrop aurora borealis tear drop shape beads. It is an Alyce Designs gown in size 8. Bust measurement is approximately 36’ and length from top of shoulder to hem in front is 54’. The second gown is a pale pink polyester and rayon dress with short sleeves and an empire style bodice of faux pearls, crystal beads, and silver sequins. It is labeled ‘Made in Hong Kong/ Victoria/ Size 10. The bust measurement is approximately 39’ and the length is 54’ from the front of the shoulder to the hem.
Condition
The gowns show some discoloration to the fabrics which may or may not respond to dry cleaning. The structure of the dresses and the beading are in good condition. There is a slight lingering smell of cigarette smoke present.
