An original pastel on fibrous green paper drawing by very well-listed American figure artist Arthur Bowen (A.B) Davies (1862-1928), titled Nude Male. This drawing is a stunning example of the ethereal figure drawings and paintings Davies is best known for. This image depicts a male nude from behind. He is drawn in soft whites, greens, and blacks, and is pictured from behind with his hands resting on his knees. The drawing is signed in the lower right, and the phrase ‘Per V. Medl’ is written beneath the signature. The print is matted in white silk with gilt trim and is presented behind glass in a marbled gilt frame.
