A four-volume set of the Memoirs of Napoleon Bonaparte by his personal secretary, M. de Bourrienne, plus a book by Emil Ludwig titled Napoleon (1926). The Memoirs were published in London by Richard Bentley. The spines are bound in navy blue leather and decorated in gilt with symbols associated with Napoleon.
