Vintage Decorative Plates with Gilt Embellishments
Item Details
A group of vintage porcelain plates. Included in the lot are two ‘Imperial by Salem China Co.’ plates with burgundy borders embellished with 23 karat gold decorations. The central images on the plates feature images of figures in elaborate period costumes. There is a lovely Haviland & Co. Limoges plate in deep cobalt blue with delicate gold embellishments, as well as two unmarked and hand decorated plates with dark aqua rims and delicate pink roses picked out with gold.
