18th Century Chinoiserie Lacquer R. Henderson Grandfather Clock

An 18th century grandfather clock made by English clockmaker Robert Henderson of Scarborough. The face is in both Roman and Arabic numerals. The chinoiserie lacquer is badly peeling and faded. The top of the brass colored face has a dragon motif, while the corners show mythical faces. Henderson was a highly esteemed and brilliant clockmaker from 1768 to approximately 1805; one of his bracket clocks is housed in the Imperial Palace in Peking. The clock has its pendulum, weights and all original working parts but was inoperable at time of listing.
Condition
-Fair, not working and original lacquer is peeling and cracking all over.
