Pair of Qing Dynasty Hand Painted Snuff bottles
Item Details
A pair of hand painted Chinese snuff bottles from the Qing Dynasty. The bottles each have a tall, round shape with narrow necks. One has a rose quartz cap with an elongated copper dipping spoon. The other bottle is missing its cap. Both have images of dragons painted to the exterior; one in white with a colorful green, three-clawed dragon amidst orange flames. Unmarked. The second is painted in blue underglaze, having five claws and flying through blue flames. It is marked to the base, ’ Made in Yong Zhong Emperor period in Qing Dynasty.’
Condition
One bottle is missing its stopper and dipping spoon.
