19th Century Portrait Attributed to Frank Duveneck
Item Details
A 19th century oil painting, unsigned but attributed to Frank Duveneck (1848-1919) as stated in an appraisal in 1975 by Louis Aronoff; this was also originally purchased from his auction house. The woman wears a white blouse and has an air of restrained disconcertion on her face. Restoration is evident and there is a light stretcher mark. This piece is presented in a wood and gold gilt frame.
