A Colt .25 Automatic Pocket Pistol. This is the true pocket pistol which was the smallest automatic Colt made. It is chambered for the .25 ACP cartridge, has a 2’ barrel, and is 4.5’ long overall. It weighs merely 13oz. The detachable magazine holds 6 shots. This model is blued with checkered black grip with safety, slide lock and a magazine disconnector safety. Manufactured between 1908 and 1941. The left side of barrel Reads: Colt’s PT F.A. Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT. U.S.A., Pat’d. Aug. 25, 1896 Apr. 20, 1897 Dec. 22, 1903 Jan. 25, 1910. Right side of barrel reads: COLT Automatic Calibre 25. Original Clip marked CAL. 25 Colt. Serial No. 182465.
