An original vintage watercolor painting on paper, signed to the lower right corner, ‘Affectionately to Helen; H. Bartel Register; 1941.’ The image depicts a snowy scene in the country, blue shadows cast on the snow by tall, bare trees, a farmer and his dog in the distance standing against the barn on a bleak winter day. Very well painted, behind double mat, under glass, in a narrow wood frame with natural stained finish.
