Original Bill Neat Ink Drawing

An original 1975 ink on textured paper drawing by Vermont illustrator Bill Neat. This playful image depicts a curious kitten hiding behind a peeling birch log as it stares intently at a buzzing dragonfly. Neat uses an incredibly thin-tipped black ink pen to create delicate linework that provides remarkable detail. The print is signed, copyrighted, and dated in ink in the lower left corner. The print is matted in brown, and is presented behind glass in a vintage speckled yellow and white frame with beige linen trim. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging.

Condition

-drawing is slipping slightly and is a bit crooked in matting. Light surface damage across frame, including discoloration on linen.
