Item Details
A circa 1960s Harlem Globetrotter broadside is the focal point of this lot. The cardboard sign is very colorful and bears the printers union label at the lower left corner and the right corner it says, ‘Lito in U.S.A.’. A Harlem Globetrotter player is shown in full uniform twirling the world on his finger, a basketball under the other arm and holding a suitcase adorned with decals of world flags. The header at the top says, ‘U.C.D. Recreation Hall Mon. January 22’; it lists the different prices of admission. The main title of the sign says, ‘Harlem Globetrotters Magicians of Basketball Coming Your Way!’.
